Olcott Beach has been nominated on the the World Fishing Network as a premier fishing location!!! We are the only port on Lake Ontario that was a finalist, and we are competing against cities and towns all across the U.S. Newfane stands to win $25,000 for marina improvements and we also would receive a 25 minute feature video on their network! Voting is one month only, May 1st – May 31st, and you can vote up to 4 times a day, every 6 hours. We are currently in 4th place, but we’ll need a real grass roots effort in order to win.
You can vote by going to Town of Newfane on Facebook or the World Fishing Network . Be sure to scroll down on the site and register – after you have registered once, you can simply register and vote after that. We are probably the smallest community nominated, lets show the rest of the country that WE CAN DO THIS !!!!! THANK YOU !!
